Re: Franz Schubert - American connection

According to family lore, one of my ancestors (Leonhard Georg SCHUBERT) was the 1/2 brother of Franz Schubert the composer. The only mention I could find on a half brother for Franz Schubert was an illegitimate brother. The family immigrated to the US and eventually ended up in Winona Minnesota. In my line of the family is this: Leonhard's daughter Ernestine Margaret SCHUBERT married Hermann PARRHYSIUS. They had a daughter Minnie (Hermine) PARRHYSIUS who married my great grandfather Mantor Brooks. That all said, I cannot verify the fact that Leonhard is really the 1/2 brother to Franz. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
