Jack,

I am searching for information on my ggg-grandfather, Benjamin Shook/Schock/Schuck b. 1812 in Anthony Twp., Lycoming County, PA. Wondering if he could possibly be the brother of Benneville Schuck/Schock. Benjamin married Mary Cohick 2/14/1833 and their children were: Nancy b. 1835; Irene (Jane?) b. 1842; Mary b. 1844; Charles b. 1846; and William b. 1840 whom I believe to be my gg-grandfather. I found them as a family in the 1850 PA Census in Anthony Twp, Lycoming County.

Like you, I am stuck as I can't go back any further. In your research did you find anything that might match this Shook/Schock line. Would appreciate any help you can give and I'll be glad to share any info that I have.

Many thanks - Kay
