Hi: I, too, am researching the Schulke name. Schulke was my husband's father's name but he came out here to California in the 1930's and changed his name to Miller. Long story. I have done some research on the Schulke name, the immigrants to the U.S., and also done some research with three films in the Salt Lake City Family History Libary with vital record information contained on them for the Posen area of Prussia, now Germany. I am interested in hearing from other Schulke researchers. Any, yes, I have seen the name spelled with the umlat over the u. In the US, I have seen the name spelled Schulke, Schuelke, and Schilke.
