I'm the great great grandaughter of Carl Schulke, and I have been interested in finding the German side of the family. I have gotten the story on William Ludwig, Carl's brother whose spelling went Schuelke. They both came through Chicago and ended up in Western Iowa. If you could help me I would definitely be interested in contacting the German side of the family.
