Schulke family in MI

Hi Schulke researchers. It was me who asked for the Schulke Forum quite some time ago. Happy to see it on. My father in law, Bernard (Bud) Frederick Schulke was born Benard Bonfoey. His mother died when he was 8 days old and his father allowed a German family to adopt him. The family was John Carl Schulke and his wife Eva Tarnow. They had several children born who didn't live. Bud grew up their only child and heir. We have many things from this family in our possession, a Bible with pictures of young children included in the pages, pictures, etc. John Carl was an engineer for the NY Central Railroad in Niles, MI. He was killed in a car accident while coming home from visiting who probably would have been his second wife (Eva having died) on Easter Sunday 1940. John and his wife came to Niles from Germany. Would love to hear from any one who may be related or know about the family of John Carl Schulke. Marge Ratliff Schulke
