Yes, this is my family. I've been able to trace Mary Abbie Schuler's mother's family (maiden name Pahl) to Baden in the 1600's, but the Schuler family has eluded me, probably because all I know is that John Schuler was born in Pennsylvania, and that his parents were born in Germany.
The Dennis family I have been able to follow back to Ontario, Canada, where Andrew (father of Mary Abbie's husband John) was born (son of Isaac Dennis and Mary Oliver). I hit a wall there because I believe Isaac was born in Pennsylvania around 1796 but can't find anything certain there. There was an Isaac Dennis born in New Jersey to a Joseph Dennis and Sarah Palmer around that time....
Anyway, thanks for your help! I am hoping there may be something in the lists of Shulers you found in census records that may lead me to something.
