Robert E. Schuller (1929-2010)

MONTPELIER - Robert E. Schuller, 81, of Warren, passed away at 8:01 a.m., on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. He was born on Monday, July 1, 1929, in Wells County.

Mr. Schuller formerly attended Asbury United Methodist Church and attended Purdue University. He was a lifetime resident of Jackson Twp. and was a Wells County farmer. He worked at 3-M Corporation in Hartford City for over 30 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Montpelier Lions Club, Montpelier Masonic Lodge #600 F &A.M. and the Scottish Rite Valley of Ft. Wayne. He was also a member of the Marion Square Dance Club.

Montpelier Masonic Lodge #600 F & A.M. will conduct Masonic Rites at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28 at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 West Windsor Street, Montpelier,

He married Linda (Kellogg) Schuller on December 16, 1989 in Jonesboro. He was the son of the late Fred and Clarice A. (Norton) Schuller.

Survivors include: wife, Linda (Kellogg) Schuller of Warren; daughters, Deborah K. Thiery of Muncie, LuAnn Pemberton of Montpelier, and Lisa L. Bauer of Bluffton; a son, Bruce A. (wife, Rachel) Schuller of Warren; step-children, Lynn A. Poe of Upland, Frank Sample of Gas City, Dennie Sample of Jonesboro, Eugene Boyer of Montpelier, and Linda Hidy of Hartford City; 12 grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Clarice A. (Norton) Schuller.

Arrangements are being handled by Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 West Windsor Street, Montpelier, where the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 - 8 p.m. Saturday, August 28, and from 1- 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29.

Funeral service will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, with Pastor Rich Hadley officiating. Interment will be at Brookside Memorial Park in Montpelier.

Walker & Glancy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
