I just saw this posting. I'm so surprised that she was married to Otto.
First, Eugenio Endrizzi's parents are Luigi Endrizzi and Giuliana Slanzi. I got this info from Italy. So that info is correct although the names are spelled differently.
He married Elizabeth (didn't know she was called Elisie)whose parents were Peter (Petrus) Yager/Jager and Sussie or Sussanah Ameser.
So that's the first marriage I come from through my grandfather, William (one of their children).

Second, she married Peter Schuller, the one who kidnapped Gus. He had a wife in Germany named Emma Gentzer. I don't know if he married two women at the same time or what!

Third: apparently to Otto Wedler. No one knows about this!
My mother was very close to Grandma Endrizze, as she called her, but never knew this.
I don't think Elizabeth's death certificate or obituary listed her name as Wedler.

Elizabeth came from Romania but was part of the German settlers in the region. She spoke German and was Lutheran. Eugenio came from northern Italy in the Tyrolean alps and probably understood German, too. Peter Schuller was German and I bet Otto was too.

Very strange to learn about this now! Thank you. Tomorrow I'll call my mom back (she's 86) and tell her. Funny thing: my mom has been married 3 times and so have I. Guess its a family tradition!

I think the Peter Schuller that went to Canada was different because, as far as I know, he returned to Germany and stayed there. Joe Schuller ended up in CA, married to Caroline. Gus married Francis and stayed in Butte.
