Ferdinand & Christiana Schuller came to Galveston, TX, on the "Element" out of Antwerp in 1846. Settled in the Houston area. They brought Julius and Paulette (children). Paulette disappeared from the census of 1850, but other children were born. In all, three lived to maturity and raised families. Julius, Adolf, and Mary (Brady). Common given names were John, Dorothea, Robert (not the minister), Frank, Christiana, Wilhelmena, Clarence, Carl, Charles.
