My mother in law was born a Schulte in Jonesboro Ark. in 1948. She does not remember her fathers first name, but does remember he suffered from burn wounds from the war and drank heavily due to the injuries. She thinks burns mostly but not clear on the type of wounds. Child memories could be close to the truth or stretched a bit. She did end up at St. Vincents Orphanage here in St. Louis and was adopt at age seven. No memories of her mother, may be absent or took off if drinking stories are true. She remembers having an older brother and sister. Older brothers name was Bobby, (could be Bob, Richard or Robert), we have found him here in St. Louis with us. He is not willing to talk about the family history and has moved on. Drinking stories are may be truthful. Still have not found older sister nor can she remember her name. Please help place a displace family get back together. Any Schulte's with a connection with Jonesboro ARk. please contact us.
