Rev. Ernest SCHUMM

I have a copy of an obituary regarding Rev. Ernest SCHUMM from December, 1908, who is my great uncle. The obituary reads as follows:

Rev. Ernest SCHUMM b. 17, September, 1864, Ochrenstock, Thuringia, Germany
d. 7, December, 1908, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas
funeral was in Dallas, December 8th.
m. 30, August, 1885, to Amalia BEFELD, place unknown
ISSUE: Six children were born to this marriage, four of whom were surviving at the time of his death (2 sons and 2 daughters).
Albert, the eldest son
Gertrude, second eldest daughter
At the time of his death, he was also survived by four brothers and one sister.
Emil SCHUMM, eldest brother
b. 4, February, 1856, Germany (town or area unknown)
d. 29, September, 1919, Miles, Runnels County, Texas
In 1883 he came from Germany to Baltimore, Maryland, went to California and then to Galveston, Texas in 1884.
In 1894, he was licensed to preach in the EVANGELICAL ASSOCIATION (church) by the Texas Conference.

Emil SCHUMM was my grandfather. I am trying to find information on this line of SCHUMMS. If anyone knows of this line of SCHUMMS, please contact me. Thanks, Frances CARLTON LOVING.
