Russia.He married Margaret Butz who's family was from Nagold, Wu.His father is thought to have been Johan Schweikert b. 1796 in Eppelheim, Heidelberg, Germany or Schweigern / Heilbreonn, Wu.It is, also, thought,his fatherwas part of the Napoleonic Army which marched into Russia in 1812.. Upon Napoleon's defeat he fled the army that winter and found his way to relatives in Grossliebental / Odessa, S. Russia.He married Sophia Herder [Hoerter] and the two of them migr. to Borodino / Bess abt 1814.The Schweikert's werevery sucessful blacksmith and wheelwright.
