Hunting for info on Christain Schweisberger and his ancestors, son of Michael Schweisberger and Elizabeth Shearer. Christain Schweisberger married Catherine Grossman in Ohio. Catherine Grossmans parents were, Christain Grossman, b. 1794 in Germany, and Elizabeth Waldorf born 1800 also in Germany. They came to America around 1835 and landed in New York and settled in Ohio. Christain Grossman and Elizabeth Waldorf had nine children. Barbra, who married John Burgner, Christain who died of typhoid in the civil war, Lucinda who married Nicholas Zintmaster, Margaret married Daniel Swartz, Elizabeth married Jacob Synder, Peter who also was in the civil war and died of TB, Catherine married Christian Schweisberger, John married ? Hussey, and last they had Jacob who married a Fultz then a Cora Neidig. Thanks, Holly
