I have no details about the Helene Schwichtenberg you seek, but here is some data about the towns you mention.Schonhagen, spelled Schönhagen in German, or Schoenhagen spelled out in English, is located 10 km southwest of Naugard (Nowogard in Polish), almost half way to Gollnow (Goleniow).Today Schönhagen is known as Osina in Polish. What is interesting about Schönhagen is that 3 km west is Kriewitz (Krzywice), the area to which many South Dakota Schwichtenberg descendants trace their ancestors. And continuing westward about 6 km. is Hackenwalde (Krepsko). North of Hackenwalde 2.2 km. is Kattenhof (Katy).Hackenwalde and Kattenhof is the origin of Schwichtenberg descendants in Iowa.My great grandfather Friedrich Schwichtenberg listed Kattenhof as his home when he came to America in 1848, married in Wisconsin, and moved to Iowa ca. 1854.As to general location, draw a line northeast from Stettin (Szczecin)to Gollnow and on to Naugard.Gollnow is 23 km. from Stettin and Naugard is 46 km. from Stettin.Regarding Bambrouch, I could not find that town name in Pommern nor in Germany. However, there is a Rambrouch in Luxenbourg. Is there any possibility that your oral tradition reversed the origin town of Helene and Carl Brehmer? It would seem more likely that Helene came from Pommern.
