Am serching for info on a Sarah Scofield and a William Mark. These two, thought to be my ggggg-grandparents, believed married in 1791 Maryland (Washington Co., I think). Had first son, John Wesley Mark 1791 in Maryland and then moved on to Bourbon/Fleming counties Kentucky. Marks eventually left Kentucky for Indiana, Sarah is thought to have died in Fleming County, Ky. 1830-1840 while living with son Elijah. William assumed to have died in Ky as well. Maryland records very incomplete for this time period. 1790 Census shows a William and Sarah in Washington County, but that's where officialdom seems to end. Hoping someone's family records has more. Will gladly pass along what I've gathered. thanks Leighton Mark
