Bruce - Levi Scofield was the son of Joseph Harvey Scofield, Sr. and Rachel (Dickerson) Scofield. Rachel was Joseph's second wife. Levi had one full brother, Charles, born 1867. Levi's father, Joseph was born 1814 in Warren County, Ohio. His first wife was Mary A. Turner, born 1816 in Butler County, Ohio. Joseph and Mary had six children as follows; Malissa (1838); Allison (1841); Corwin (1844); Joseph Harvey II (1847); Allen Fremont (1850); and Constantine (1850). Levi's father had one brother that I know of, William, born 1803 Probably in Ohio. William's wife was Mary Wilson, as seen in a reply to my query. There is more. I have Levi's grandparents as William and Lydia (Abbott) Scofield. I cannot find any siblings of the two brothers, William and Joseph. It might be well to mention also that my 2d GG Grandparents, James Applegate and Elizabeth Scofield were married by a justice of Peace, Edward Scofield in 1848 in Trumbull County, Ohio. I am sure Edward is closely related, but have not been able to make the connection. I hope this is what you were looking for.
