The Scofield Family Project

I have always been interested in family history. With the passing of my mother's father in 2005, I thought I would look into creating a place where information can be organized, shared, and be seen by all.

During my quest I leanred that my mom's uncle has been collecting genealogy information on our family for years, as well as a second counsin of his. To make a long story short (if that is possible), I have created the Scofield Family Project.

It is in its beginning stages. Doesn't even have a proper web site. But it has a backend and a server that are state of the art. If you have information that you would like to contribute or are you looking for information? You are more than welcome to take a look.

If you already have a Scofield page and would like to add it to the masses? Email me here and I will add you to the Scofield Family Project pages.

Scofield's on the Move! > Bill Scofield

You can either host with us or I will set up your very own domain pointed to your personal page where ever that is located using like my distant relative above - Bill Scofield.

My mom's uncle said to me once, that in the course of his genealogy travels he has met relatives in NY and CA that both are looking to create a Scofield web site - but I haven't seen hide nor hair of one yet.

So here you have it! is a non profit web site to organize a Scofield family history. is or will be a user based site where you will be able to fine a collection of Scofield pages, and genealogy sites.

Hosting with allows you to have access to the hottest genealogy web site software on the web! If you don't believe me check out because that is what I'm using for my backend.

Gotta go! Keep up the good work!
