I've been searching for records of a Hester Jane Scofield Garrison or William H. Garrison. Hester was born on August 4, 1820 in New York. The 1850 census shows her married to William H. Garrison and living at the Town of Fishkill with a daughter, Mary E..
Hester died on August 12, 1858 so she does not appear on the next Census...however, William and the children are on the 1860 census in Matteawan.
Any documents (or hints on where I might find these records) would be very much appreciated.

He is buried there with his second wife and a daughter Lavina.
