Sarah Scofield nee Marshall, 1900 census for Kingston, N.Y., looking for husband

A Sarah Scofield and her four children, Marilda, Minnie, Charles and William, are listed in the 1900 census for Kingston, N.Y. living with Sarah's parents, Thomas and Marilda Marshall. Sarah is a widow and also had three other children between 1880 and 1900 that have died. She was originally from the Greenwich-Stamford, Conn., area where she probably married circa 1880. Does anyone know who her husband was? Does anyone know what happened to her children? A Charles Scofield, who may be her son, shows up in Boston by 1930 and a William Scofield, who may be her other son, shows up in Jersey City, N.J., in 1920 and 1930. Is anyone familiar with this family?
