Hi Pam. As you can see, I found the site you told me about when we spoke on Friday night. I was shocked to see all the names of people who may be related to me. I will continue my message to you in an Email. I have information about the girls in Miami.
Thanks, Marcus for getting Pam on the road to finding us.
I am your cousin Karen, Reggie's sister. You do not remember me, but I remember you and your sister, Lisa. Well, I always thought her name was Lisa, but I know it's spelled different. I think it was my aunt Ophelia that told me Lisa had gotten married some years back. I was not around much after 1977, but your mother Corene and Father Glenn knew me well. I have not seen your aunts, my cousins, Francis & Anne Lou in years. One of them is married to a Mitchell from Mims and was in Germany at the same time as I in the mid eighties. I think Francis was the darkest of the two; I always got them mixed up. Sara Yovonne and I were close in age and I knew her well as a little girl and her youngest sister Lisa, but Lisa didn't remember me when I saw her in 91. Also I knew your uncles, Roy, Larry, David (deceased), Steve and Rex well as a little girl. The last time I saw your grandparents, my great aunt and uncle Sam, was in 91 at my dads funeral in Alabama.
A cousin, Aretha from NY sent me a news paper article back in Sep that said Brandon Hutchison died on the football field in Alabama during a game. His father, Larry, was in the stadium when his son collasped on the field. Did you hear about that?
Marcus, I am glad to learn that your are saved. I remember accepting Christ when I was 12 years old, but at the time I didn't know much about being saved and confess that I didn't start living a saved life until many years later when I understood what it meant to be saved.
Reggie and Vanessa are four years older than I am, so I can understand you not knowing me, but I know you. I use to stop by your house and visit Corene and Glen whenever I was in town. Your mother's face use to light up the few times I paid her a visit. Glenn use to have a nice big smile too. That's the one thing I remember about them, Frances and Anne Lou, those big smiles.
I try to visit Margarette and James whenever I go home. I missed Louis by a matter of minutes last summer. Uncle Matt is alway on the go. I usually have to leave a phone message for him. James video taped a message for me to Uncle Matt the last time I was home.
So Marcus, do you know Stevin Twiggs? If so, he's my youngest brother. Reggie and I do not agree on him being older than Pam. Pam, as I thought about it more and looked at the picture of Stevin that I took when he was about 5, which was taken in 74/75, I say that Stevin is older than you by a two or three years. But I could be wrong.
Marcus, I have not talked with him in probably four years. He had several sisters and one older brother - Marshanne, Sheila and Honrea (spl ?). Seems like I'm leaving someone out. Their mother was Betty Jo and they lived on 4th Ave.
I know he had a son from my friend/classmate's neice. My classmate is Doroty Grady, her mother is Atlee Grady, and Dot had a lot of sisters and brothers. Rosane Grady, one of her sisters, is the mother of the young lady that had Stevin's son. So let us know if know anything.
Well, gotta go. Pam expect an email today.
