Hi,my name is Patrice Leigh-Anne Sconiers. I am the daughter of Woodrow Sconiers, and the grandaughter of Benjamin Sconiers. I live in South Bend IN. My grandfather has since past, but my grandmother Louise and all my other immediate family are in Atlanta now. I do know a little about the Sconiers side, have faint memories of going to a family reunion in Alabama but man, I was so young, I can't remember alot. I have heard about Sconiersville, Alabama, and do know that my grandparents were from Genevie Alabama. If you could give me any info on my folks, it would be greatly appreciated! I'm about to be 26 years old and really don't know alot about my dads side of the family still. I don't have any children yet, but am planned to get married in July. Sconiers is such a unique name, that when people it, they usually say "Hey, are you related to...?" and the only reply I can give is "well, I'm sure I am, but I don't know them." I would like to be able to at least acknowledge my family. (know what I mean)So once I take over my married name, I won't be able to be connected to distant relatives like I've been able to in the past. Could you help a kinfolk out?!?!
