I am looking to take my family genealogy further back into Scotland. I have a great deal of info from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Daniel/ Donald CARMICHAEL b. 17 Oct 1787 in Oban. s/o Duncan CARMICHAEL and Flora NOCHOLSON. Daniel emigrated to Nova Scotia in 1810. I wish to find his family in Scotland and cintinue the family tree from Daniel on back. Any help or suggestions appreciated! Also, I would like a little history on Clan Carmchael and their history in Oban. \
