Dear Elizabeth

My Mum will have a good hunt for the information tonight but in the meantime this is from my Auntie Pauline.

My grandfather Leslie Roper Scrimshaw had parents called George (she thinks but it might have been John) who married Louisa Russell) Any chance of finding them or their parents?

My grandmother was Miriam Clifton before she married my Grandad, her parents were Winifrid (not sure how you spell the name, sorry!) Cragg and Frederick Spendla Clifton, Winifred Cragg's parents were Sarah Cragg and John Cragg, Sarah Cragg's maiden name was Skinner.

Anything you can find would be greatly appreciated. Please go back as far as you like, the more information the better!!

Thank you so much again

Ruth
