Hi! I think that the Ambrose Scully you are looking for is the brother of my 3rd Great Grandfather who was called John Scully. In 1851 the brothers were living together at numbers 5-7 Ivegate in Bradford city centre where Ambrose was running an Ironmongery business.Ambroses' wife Mary (26)and his son Thomas were also living there.By 1861 John had married to Mary and had 2 sons William Patrick age 5 (my 2nd gt Grandfather) and Ambrose age 4. In 1861 Ambrose, his wife Mary and children Thomas (13) Catherine (8) and Mary (2) were living at 236 Wellesley Terrace. His shop had moved to Westgate, Bradford. By 1881 Ambrose and Mary Scully were living at their daughter Catherine Mary's house (Catherine had married Alex Bald in 1873)At Buckingham Mount, Headingley, Leeds.I hope this information helps you, Louis Scully has a great Scully website which is very good, lots of census information and what Bradford was like all those years ago! Best wishes Jayne Doyle
