I have a Scully connection to the Whetley Hill area, not sure if it will help, the names in your question don't ring any bells with me but my Scully family history is vague.

My GreatGrandmother was Phyliss Wilson married to John Scully in the early 1900's. Her parents were Fountain Wilson and Sarah Emmett both born around 1872. Her family ran 'The Whetley Arms' in Whetley Hill (They also ran the 'Emmett Arms' in that area. I think John and Phyliss lived in the pub in Whetley until they settled in their own house in that area.

Hope this helps?

Regards
Gary
