Greetings,

I don't know a whole lot about my family tree, but I have heard from other family members that (most probably) Ellen (nee Trainor) and Joseph were my great-grandparents. They would have had a child, Francis Xavier (who was the author of "Behind the Flying Saucers" and some biographies known as Frank Scully), who was my paternal grandfather. Frank Scully died in 1964, survived by his wife Alice and four children: Thomas J (my father), Marguerite (deceased), Sylvia, Patricia, and Maureen.

My understanding is that the Joseph Scully family lived in Steinway, NY. This was the Steinway Pianos company town carved out of Queens on the East River.

Thats about the extent of my knowledge of this branch of my ancestry. Would love to know more, though.
