Died June 1, 1863 - Robert Scully, age 38 years, native of Dublin, Ireland. Buried June 2, 1863. Anyone has any information on Robert. Robert came to Jamaica, he was one of the owner for the sugar estate. He was murdered.

On Tuesday, 8 April, 1873, the Falmouth Post (Trelawny),Jamaica showed that intelligence was received from Spanish Town reporting a murder in Clarendon. The notice said that "the government will give a reward of 100 Pounds to any person who will afford information leading to the apprehension and conviction of the murderer of the late Mr. Robert Scully on the evening of 13 December, 1872 in the parish of Clarendon.

"The murderer of young Scully has been apprehended. He was a cooper on Longville Estate and his name is Case, twice a convict. He was captured by a Detective named Isaacs.
