My Greatgrandmother was Mary Scully born in central Dublin circa 1850 - 1855 (I'm guessing here) She married Corneluis (Conor) Reilly from Mullahoran in Co Cavan on 15 August 1875 in St Michan's Church in inner city Dublin. She lived at Ormond Crescent which I think would be roughly were Ormond square is now. They had two children Christina, My grandmother b December 1875 and Philip born May 1877. Conor died in March 1878 in North Dublin Union hospital. My Grandmother at some stage later (possibly when she was a teenager) came to live in Cavan and Philip stayed with the Scully Family. But we have no further records of what happened to Mary Scully Reilly. Her father was called Michael Scully and she had a sister Jane who was her bridesmaid and a brother called Jack I think. Philip Reilly Mary's son eventually emigrated to USA and had a family there. Would any Scully family have a memory of a Philip Reilly or Reilly folk being in contact with them in the early to mid 1900s. I would be so grateful if any one could throw any light on this family and particularly on Mary Scully Reilly.
