Hi Anthony,
Yes, I have discovered the entries for Scully and Hayden a few years ago, however without a significant link for either Bernard Scully in Kildare or the parents Thomas and Betty, they are simply names on paper. I am stuck with where to go from here. It seems without a death/burial, marriage or birth record, or even a census record I am left with names on paper.
Bernard married three times in Sydney, and had several children pre-decease him and of course several who out lived him. All life events were highly reported in the local papers at the time, yet none mentioned family members outside Sydney, Australia.
I have been frustrated with this for 15 years now, and it seems the only way I can further my research is to go to Kildare and traipse through the cemeteries in person. Money doesn't extend to this luxury so I'll have to be content with internet research for a while longer.
