My maiden name was Scurry. I was born in 1922. My father had a brother, Allen and his oldest son was James who married Geneva. They lived on a government project(they purchased their farm)at Ashwood. I am not sure if Ashwood is in Sumter County or Lee County,- Sumter, I think. James and Geneva had lots of children, although I did not know any of them. James has a half sister, still living.
