how odd.
I have a cousin Caroline. Her mother was a Scutt before she married my uncle. Her mother was a Mills before she married her husband. Mills-Scutt-Scutt-Mills can you give me some more info. I am sure my cousin would love to knwo her history. they are from Billingshurst, West Sussex by the way.
also am interested in a Harriet Steer. She took in the children of Stephen Brooks (Fanny and Earnest) when he died and the mother....doed too?? dont know. In 1881 census they were in pulborough livign with them and said to be neice and nepew. wierd.
