Hello Bob , My name is Patrick Cazneau,I live in California. I am a descendent of Paix Cazneau I have collected my ancestry for many years and would be glad to share it with you. I beleive off hand that you are actualy going to find that the ancestor is named Peace Cazneau. He was the son of Paix Cazneau the same name in French. I will double check when I get home. There is a published Cazneau genealogy that you can see in the 1988 New England Historical and Genalogical Register. I will send you a copy if you send me a forwarding address. It may interest you that Peace Cazneau is buried in "The Old Granary Burial Ground" in Boston,Mass. His headstone was not visible though when I visited it in 1998. I am descended from his brother Isaac Cazneau, there sister Mary Cazneau Metcalf was buried in Wrentham,Mass and her tombstone is intact as well as about 20 of her relatives.Until later.Patrick L Cazneau
