We are searching for information on Ernest Albert SCUTT, born in Ashington, Sussex (U.K) in 1883. He died in Worthing Sussex in 1941 aged 68.
He served in WW1 in the 1st Vetinary Corps and was employed as an Auctions Porter. His wifes name was Lucy (nee Peacock) and they lived at 2 Merridith Road, Worthing.Where members of my family lived until her death in 1978 aged 91. Up until this time my family had being this house's only residents.
My Grandfather Ernest had five brothers who were all killied duing the Battle of the Somme in 1916. We know that thier names are listed on the Worthing War Memorial, however at this time we do not know thier full names or initials.Any help would be greatly apprieciated.
Ron & Mary Scutt, Perth Western Australia.
