Good Morning,
The Martin Daley who was acquainted with our family was born in Iowa on Sept. 1879 according to the 1900 Census. The family is on the 1880 Floyd Co., IA census. The four oldest children were b. in Iowa, and Robert b. in 1884 was b. in SD.
I couldn't resist doing a little more internet research on South Dakota Daley/Daily/Dailey families, and found that Martin had an older sister ELLA who md. George Cashman in 1919, his sister MARGARET md. Wm Coughlin in 1907, and his sister ANNIE md. Frank Davis before 1905. Martin's brother ROBERT H. (or N) married twice, first to Margaret Dolan in 1907, and second as a widower to Anna Belle Marsh iin 1943. Martin never married --- that we knew of.
You no doubt already have this, but Bernard N. Daley md. Juanita Miller on 22 Feb. 1927 in Hand Co., SD.
