THURSTON, DAY of Sheffield

I'm looking for information about Thurston or Day families living in the area of Sheffield, SD from about 1910 onward. I have significant information already, being descended from those DAY families, but I have significantly less on the THURSTON side.

Alfred THURSTON married Barbara LUTZ, a german immigrant. She died in Nov 1909 and is buried in Shue Creek Cemetery. He died in 1927, and is also buried in Shue Creek Cemetery. Anything further back on either of these two would be much appreciated. They had a slug of kids: Rod, Jennifer (Myers), Joseph, Ida May (Day), William, Erminnie, and Stella. I have a small amount of information on several of the kids, but more would be very nice to have. I have most on Ida May (Day), who is my GGrandmother. I have some on William and Joseph, a little on Erminnie "Min" and Rod.

Ida May THURSTON married Clyde W. DAY 01 Jan 1909 in Huron, SD. Clyde and Ida had a plot of land in Sheffield which is shown on the 1949 plat, south half, #20 right north and west of Lake Cavour.

I'd be happy to reciprocate with what I do have!
