They were of Codington Co., SD, in 1910, MARTIN: Wm. J., 35; Lena, 27
William, 7; Margaret, 5; Alice, 3; Mayme, 2.

These were their ages in 1920, Wessington, Beadle Co., SD, MARTIN:
William, 45, & Lena, 35
William, 16; Margaret, 14; Alice, 13; Maime, 10; Maurice, 5.

If you have only these clues and no exact date of death, you're not likely to find an obituary without first buying a copy of a death certificate from the State Dept. of Health or the Register of Deeds of the county. By the 1920's, the death certificates should show the place of burial.

Do you know the married names of the daughters and where they went from the Wessington area? You might find them on the Social Security Death Index.
