Hello. - Happened to see this and made a mental link with the name Nedrow, as my father worked for Leland Nedrow in the mid-1930's. That was about halfway between Centerville and Viborg. I am assuming that the two are related, though only because of the name and location. - I typed in "Henry Nedrow Centerville" on a google search and found a "Nedrow Family File," which I assume you have seen...and maybe are a part of, but you can find it with this address: http://www.angelfire.com/ca4/surnames/nedrow.html . It shows only that Henry Nedrow died on "x" date, with no mention of a cemetery. However, the Centerville "Riverview" cemetery is a half mile north of town. There is a good possibility that he is buried there. - The bound Centerville Journal's (back into the 1890's) are stored in the library, which is now housed in the school. I haven't been there since they've moved it so can only guess how it's set up. You could try online and see if the Centerville school system has a home page or try the Sioux Falls library and ask them if they have an e-mail address for them. If you are going to the effort to get Henry's obit you should get his father's obit, as he died in Centerville too. John Penrod Nedrow? Trusting my memory, always a dangerous thing. - There is www.interment.net and find-a-grave but I don't think there are any Turner county cemeteries on them yet. Lot's of little rural cemeteries though and a few can be found via rootsweb or just a name search. - There are four Nedrow's listed in the index in the Centerville centennial book, published 1983. Henry and Leland D. are only mentioned being in the miliary, Dora B. is listed as being a teacher (no date given) at Joy School, #77, which is in Brooklyn township, Lincoln county. The county line between Turner and Lincoln is only a half mile east of Centerville and Brooklyn township is across the road from the Riverview cemetery. So, she wasn't too far from Centerville but could have lived in Lincoln county. On page 79 they mention that a funeral home had been moved to the Anna Nedrow residence...not much help there. And, on page 181 they commented that Mrs. Anna Nedrow was supervisor of the Riverview cemetery association, a position she held "for many years." And that would lead me to check Riverview. - That's the best I can do. Notify Administrator about this message?
