Joseph Isaac Russell was born in 1880 in Rapid City. He died is Rapid City in 1973. His parents, from what I can tell, are Joseph Isaac Russell born 1849 (approx) in France or Canada, and Nellie Dumont born 1856 in New York and died in 1890 (place unknown).
I have no information on whether or not Joseph (Jr) had any brothers or sisters, or when Joseph (Sr) came to the US from Canada or France.
Joseph (Jr.) married Irene Thomas. She was born in 1888 in Ohio. Her parents are George Thomas (born in MA in 1858) and May (no known last name) born approx 1868 (I believe in New Jersey).
Joseph and Irene had 5 children:
