The person you are referring to is Peter Nicholas Heintz who happens to be my great grandfather and was b. Dec. 26,1866 m. Mary K. Scheel Oct. 16, 1888 and d. Feb. 28, 1944 in Aurora County, SD. He is not the one I am looking for. I am searching for Nicolas Peter Heintz b. 1869 in IA, m. Mammie Eastman about 1892 and remained with her until her death in 1902.
