Sorry, I have no Irish records. I'm in Mitchell, SD.
Do you mean the district, or the town of Clonakilty, West Cork, southern Ireland? I just looked for Catholic Churches there, and they list four: Clonakilty, Rosscarbery, Timoleague, & Courtmacsherry.
I looked at my Ethan, SD, Holy Trinity Catholic records (copied by a friend, not all indexed). I do not have any Ethan church death records before 1909 (missed Ellen by THAT much). There is an Ethan record showing that Jeremiah DONOVAN died 8 Apr. 1960 and was buried at Emery, as well as Michael & Wm., buried at Ethan.
There are also two baptisms recorded at Holy Trinity. The name Kingstone might be a clue, though you might also look for Kingston. John DONAVAN & Mary SLATTERY had Daniel Kingstone DONAVAN, b. 15 Aug. 1918, sponsors Jerimiah DONAVAN & Marie SLATTERY. John DONOVAN & Mary SLATTERY had Donald Keith DONOVAN, b. 17 Sep. 1922, Mitchell, bpt. at St. Joseph's Hospital, sponsors Daniel DONOVAN & Gertrude SLATTERY.
