David,

I read your message with great interest and wanted to let you know that we are related.

Your Anthony Seabrook's father, Richard Seabrook (married to Catherine Gainfort) was the brother of my gggg-grandfather, Henry Seabrook, Sr. In fact, Henry's son, Henry, Jr., and his wife and 7 children stayed with Anthony and Mary in the Smith Falls, Ontario area in 1853 before they bought their farm in Havelock, Ontario.

I believe Richard and Henry Sr.'s parents were Anthony and Mary Seabrook - listed as between age 50 and 60 on the 1776 Ferns Church census.

Did you know that Helen Dunbar wrote a book on your family? Please contact me at my e-mail address and let's compare notes.
