My grandfather, Harcourt Cecil Seabrook, came from around Berden which is in Essex/Herts. He served in WW1 and married a Scottish woman then moved to Canada. His marriage broke up and my mother never knew her father - she was sent back to Scotland. We have been trying to find the Seabrook family without much success. Harcourt's people owned pubs (I think) and market gardens.
