My mother's father's family came from Herts/Essex area, however she never knew her father (Harcourt Cecil Seabrook) or his family. Her father served in WW1 and later moved to Canada to work on family properties. My mother mentioned an uncle Hugh and aunt Kathleen (after whom she was named). She also had a cousin Harry Seabrook who served in WW2. We know that some of the family lived for a while in the village of Berden. Is any of this familiar?
