Seabrook Family of Hanover County, VA, USA

Know that John and Nicholas B. Seabrook were in Hanover Co., VA 1782 through at least 1805/07. John Seabrook sold "Dungarvan" to Edward Garland Sydnor ca 1805. Seems Seabrooks had fairly large land holdings here. Also seems that the Seabrooks, Garlands (also held land here, possibly "Mayfield among others), and the Sydnors were related as the surnames appear in Sydnor family given names. Need help in sorting this out. Also will help in understanding the Sydnor family and slave cemetery desercration situation by developer. He is moving the slave cemetery with court order but absoultely no respect. A backhoe is doing the work, little hand work. You tell me. Art Taylor
