I am researching Thomas Seabrook and need to touch bases with someone else who is also doing research on this particular Robert. According the the book "Early Fairchilds in America & Their Descendants", compiled by Jean Fairchild Gilmore, she states that Robert was the son of Robert and that there were actually 2 Robert Seabrooks in Stratford CT at the same time. My ancestor is Emma Seabrook, who married Thomas Fairchild, Jr. According to the book, Emma was not a child of Robert and Alice unless Robert had a second marriage. One Robert was the son of Robert and one Robert was the son of Thomas. I guess my question is whether you have come across Emma Seabrook as a daughter of Robert and Alice Goodspeed Seabrook? I look forward to hearing from you.
