I am a descendant of the Irish Seabrook family. I have traced them back to the 1785 Ferns church (Wexford County) records and believe that Anthony Seabrook (b. abt 1720-45, wife Mary) is my 5th g-grandfather. I know for certain that Henry Seabrook, b. abt. 1765 in Ireland, is my 4th g-grandfather.

Family lore has it that we were English and came over to Ireland with Cromwell and were given lands for military service - displacing, of course, the poor Irish farmers.

Henry, Richard, Anthony, William, John, James were names that are repeated and repeated down through the children.
