My great grandfather was Eugene Seabrook, born in South Carolina in 1875 or 1876. He married Laura Walker who was born in Viriginia at the same time. This is all I really know about him, as my grandfather was orphaned at an early age. This information is from my grandfather's birth certificate (also Eugene). I'm not sure when they came to New York City, but it would have been during or prior to 1916 as my grandfather was born in New York City in 1916. We are also Black/African American. Does this fill in any blanks? Maybe you can fill in some of mine...
