I am looking for information on Agnes/Agness Seabrooks who was the daughter of William and Jemima Gist-Seabrooks. She was born Mar. 18, 1743 and married Joseph Roberts. He was killed by Indians while on a scouting expedition with Captain Phillips about 1781. They had five children: Richard, Nancy, Jemima, Mary and Levi. (I am a descendant of Levi.) Agnes died August 24, 1833 and is buried in Angus, East Taylor Township Cemetery, Cambria Co., PA.
I have reason to believe that Agnes later married someone by the name of Berry--maybe Standish Berry. There is an Agness Berry listed in the 1790 Census and the 1800 Census in Huntingdon, Woodbury Twp, PA. No husband is listed.
