I have since learned that Anna wife of Christopher Seabrook Jenkins was the daughter of Alexander Jackson Champlin aka Champlain and his wife Sarah Rivers Buckner. A.J. Champlin was the son of Samuel Champlin who left Connecticut to reside in Charleston. Their surname is spelled variously throughout South Carolina records as Champlin and Champlain.
