Just found MAY SEABROOKE B.1884 mother MARY SEABROOKE b.1853 schoolmistress living 25 Spellow Lane Walton when May was born. Fathers name appears to bave been struck through but could be ROBERT GLISTER no profession added. It looks as though May was illigitimate. On her marriage certificate in 1905 no mention of her father. She was adopted by JOHN GRAINGER who lived in Codnor Derbyshire.

I think Mary her mother MAY have gone to the States in 1894.

Any help, advice or interest please get in touch.
